System Tray Icons Blurry Windows 10 And this is something that just started a week or two ago with the disappearance of the "safely remove hardware" icon. Has anyone used the new X1 Carbon with the software function keys? What matters here is the default device pixel size of text and controls rendered by system UI, such as a plain GNOME app or KDE app.
Adobe, for example, isn't willing to go out of business switching to WinRT or UWP. It gets a bit better over time with MS adding fudges and ISVs working around limitations but it’s still never go to work properly. I tend to agree with your conclusion, that this new way is technically correct. I've ended up using the laptop's own high res display only for Gmail, and using Ctrl+Plus several times on that browser window to make it readable.Jon SchneiderWednesday, 15 January 2014 14:17:17

I like that setting, it's easy for my eyes on my 24 inch wide-screen. On the other hand, obviously, it will consume memory, so most people are probably better off not using it. It's not an easy problem to solve, at least not in the windows world. http://pspdesktops.com/windows-10/windows-7-taskbar-icons-not-stacking.html Here's the Flash installer.

For example, please include the FontSmoothing value in your report, as requested by Ananta (who I assume is a Chrome team member from the @Chromium.org email) in post #58: https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=395425#c58 Comment I cannot confirm that system icons do not resize - see the attaches screenshots, one at 96 DPI running seamonkey 2.6, the other at 200 DPI running seamonkey 2.0.14 - this See: Control Panel\Appearance and Personalization\Display. weblink Indeed, I often use this capability to test my web pages on low and high dpi screens to make sure my multiple-resolution image sourcesets load correctly for low and high dpi.
The other artifact is a thin, irregularly shaped white line where the opaque area of a PNG-24 meets the transparent (alpha transparency) area. This is so they can do overly-aggressive hinting for the standard Arial 10pt/96ppi, but causes the horizontal distances to jump around in strange ways at any other size. Your fonts are fine in the host OS but then you connect to a guest with the Hyper-V client and everything in that window is tiny. (It'd be nice if there I'm very disappointed in Microsoft on that app.

Everything is larger, but zoom is at 100%. 100% means full size, the correct size, not some ridiculously scaled Please do this before reporting that this fix (#33, #38) doesn't work. This list of missing features is long but the most obvious is the inability to create additional windows.
After the update to Chrome 37, the text and images in Chrome were bigger and fuzzy--evidently something went wrong with the scaling or zoom after the update. So I have to set everything to the largest setting in the scaling panel to see stuff on laptop screen, and it makes everything huge on the external monitor.Nut I've seen I originally had two externaldisplays, same resolution with slightly different physical sizes, connected through the Surface Dock. I also did what #48 suggested for opening HTML files on my hard drive.
There are now more artifacts on the page, related to both HTML tables and to transparent PNG images (PNG-24s). Not everything can nor should be a webapp. Windows won't elegantly move between the two, in fact won't do so at all. What is the expected result?
