I killed the process, it seemed to get better a bit, but the mouse click error appeared again. If you see XINPUT Compatible HID listed, this fix may well work for you. When I asked to speak with his supervisor, he then told me he had a probable fix for the problem (so why didn't he do this initially?). I've made a few photos (a picture is worth a thousand words 😉 ) to help others during disassembly of the housing. Uncheck this box, and click "OK." I did it and hoped it would fix the issue, but no... It has broken off now my mouse works spuratically.
