Hmm I'll look that up and report back. The deselecting works even when the screen is flashing but not typing from the keyboard. I've been hearing a lot of reports online that the crashing has to do with faulty drivers, and i noticed that my wireless adapter (Asus pce ac68) was not working properly I think Norton is causing a system hang or freeze.

As real-life end-users, we don't need more frustration than we already have!!!! They had reported before of a driver bug which caused the issue, now what is the problem. It is possible for a firewall to cause a crash. Edit - The scan just ran successfully as it usually does the second time. I have removed all Norton products and used the msconfig to disable the 2 services that seemed to fix everyone else's issues, but still no luck.

Restart your system and Windows should reinstall them. My taskbar is empty.
